The Board and staff members of Children's Aid Society committed a great deal of time in 2010 to surveying stakeholders, consumers, staff and Board members, evaluating programs, reviewing policies and procedures, completing risk assessments, etc, to prepare a strategic plan for the organization that included a performance quality improvement continuous review process.  We learned a lot, most importantly - what we do well, what we need to do better and that our community does not necessarily know what an array of services the organization provides. 

So...CAS began 2011 with an updated mission statement supported by a strategic, three year plan that challenges staff and Board members to continue to provide high quality programs and to actively promote the services of the agency with the CAS community.

Board and staff members are excited with the direction of the strategic plan, are committed to organization-wide excellence and continuous improvement, and anticipating exciting changes for CAS in the upcoming three years.
